New 4th Member of AOB?, New rumor...

So the cat's out of the bag, the rumors of the band being torn on an internal issue seem to point to the band arguing over whether or not to include a 4th member to the band.

If having this 4th person join would mean that the album would be released and the band would continue, would you support this? Or would you prefer that Ace Of Base breaks up and moves on?

I, personally, think they should do whatever it takes to get this album out. I will support a 4-membered Ace Of Base.

Frankly, the band needs to come down off of the pedastle they've apparently placed themselves on and realize that they're in absolutely no position to be arguing with record labels. If someone is willing to release ANYTHING by them, the band needs to be kissing their asses, not clinging to some notion that they have any credibility left in the music industry and will eventually find a deal that suits them. If the label says they need a new member, they need to get a new member. Like I said in the other thread, it's stupid to look at it as a bad thing. It could be a much-needed jolt of NEW energy into the band and could push them over this hump they've been fighting up for three years.

the poll needs a third choice: release the album with the 3 of them. I don't want them to have a new member but I don't want them to break up either.

Supermikey: can you add a 3rd choice? I think most people here want the record to be released like it is. The poll is like choosing between Pest and Cholera.

If there's a 4th member -there's no AOB.
If there's another name-there's no AOB and my whole interest in this band will be gone, beacuse as i've said the other day, the only thing that keeps me coming back in here, is the name AOB.

Their current status is also pathetic. They're playing these Mickey Mouse concerts under the name AOB and being a trio and all of sudden, they're coming up with these really messed up issues.(like adding 4th member, changing their name,Jenny's solo album etc)

And all you can think about right now is a new album. So not supportive and a little selfish.
